Jerry Davis is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable builders in the LowCountry. He began building homes when he was a boy, working with his father to build their home in the South Carolina Upstate. Jerry graduated from the University of South Carolina and later, as his love for construction continued, he began his construction company in Columbia, South Carolina in 1982. In 1999, Jerry moved his family to the LowCountry, an area of South Carolina in which he had always wanted to live because of its natural beauty and growing economic climate. Jerry Davis Custom Homes is a small company that prides itself in customer relationships. Jerry keeps an open line of communication with all of his clients ensuring that every detail of the home building process follows their exact wishes. Jerry oversees all construction personally and is always available to his clients.

Extremely flexible in building all types of homes, Jerry welcomes his clients to bring their own plans or sit down with him to develop plans with an architect best suited to their particular needs and desires.

Jerry is driven by the need to produce peerless quality of the highest standard. This is reflected in his winning LightHouse Awards presented by the Hilton Head Area Homebuilders Association recognizing building and construction excellence in the LowCountry.

Recently, Jerry chose one home, in Belfair Plantation, to represent all of his fine quality homes in the LightHouse Awards. The home he chose WON BEST OVERALL, BEST EXTERIOR, AND WAS A FINALIST IN BEST KITCHEN, BEST BATH AND BEST FEATURE.

Jerry strives to build all of his homes with the features that will bring clients the most value and benefits. He commits to staying on top of current techniques, new products and ways to better serve his clients. That’s why he has made it his goal to incorporate “green building” techniques to create homes that not only benefit clients, but the environment as well. Jerry has successfully completed the EarthCraft House Builder Certification.
